Montreux Berner Oberland Bahn AG (MOB) commissioned PROSE for the development of this gauge-changing facility. PROSE’s tasks included the mechanical and control engineering development of the plant, the design with preparation of manufacturing documents and supplier specifications, the strength calculation, the development of the software including tests and RAMS analysis for the ramp control, the supply of a control cabinet, tests of the complete assembly with the signal box and the hydraulic system as well as the support in supplier management and approval issues.

PROSE supported the client SBB in being able to provide their internet service for the customer group without a Swiss SIM card. This was done via the corresponding user profiles and through calculating their quantity structure via already existing data fragments.

PROSE successfully completes 'Innovative Concrete Sleeper' research project

In the best-case scenario, rail traffic noise should be reduced at source in order to avoid subsequent measures. With this target in mind, the Swiss Federal Office for the Environment (FOEN) and the Federal Office of Transport (FOT) have commissioned PROSE in two research projects to find solutions for an acoustically enhanced superstructure.

Turn-Key Engineering for air snow blower on funicular railway

In December 2017, the world's steepest funicular railway from the Muotatal to Stoos was opened in Switzerland. The operator commissioned ZAUGG AG EGGIWIL to build an air blower system for this funicular in order to clear the rails of snow and foliage during the winter season. At the beginning of February 2019 PROSE was selected by ZAUGG AG EGGIWIL to take over the mechanical engineering and to carry out the necessary calculations.
