PROSE as independent verification body for the calculation of vehicle-specific track access
With the implementation of the track access charge system from 2017, the BAV regulation on rail network access (NZV-BAV) requires the calculation of vehicle-specific prices. The calculation of the basic price for wear and tear is described in the BAV document «Basispreis Verschleiss im Trassenpreis 2017 – Anleitung für die Fahrzeugpreisbestimmung». The price is calculated by the RU, the manufacturer or an engineering office based on vehicle data and results from multi-body simulations. An independent test centre recognised by the FOT assesses the calculation and issues a corresponding test confirmation. PROSE is recognised by the FOT as an independent verification body for the calculation of vehicle-specific track access.
PROSE has already carried out the calculation of vehicle-specific track access for well-known customers as an independent verification body.
