Impressions of the “Siegburg Locomotive Maintenance Experience Exchange” 2021
On October 27 and 28, representatives of manufacturers, leasing companies, maintainers, operators, and specialists met for the first Siegburg Locomotive Maintenance Experience Exchange. During two days of presentations and group discussions, a common picture was gained of the challenges and possible solutions in the context of the ECM regulation.
PROSE, represented by Dr. Bernhard Frei of our site in Bern, Switzerland, guided the auditorium through the digital rolling stock lifecycle and highlighted references on predictive maintenance accordingly.
At the end of the conference, the host and CEO of BahnVerstand, Christoph Gabrisch, implored the participants to take the "spirit of Siegburg" with them into their further work. What was meant was the "we" feeling and the knowledge of the joint responsibility for the further development of the sector.
The follow-up meeting on “Siegburg Locomotive Maintenance Experience Exchange” is planned for November 16 and 17, 2022, again in Siegburg.
