TSB – Transport System Bögl: Driverless local train with magnetic railway technology

Over the last few years, the Transport System Bögl (TSB) has been independently developed based on magnetic railway technology and brought to readiness to go into production by the Max Bögl Group. TSB is a driverless, fully secured, track-bound traffic system with travel velocities of up to 150 km/h. It is characterised by unrivalled riding smoothness, low operating costs and high flexibility in route planning. The slim track can easily be integrated into existing infrastructures, either at ground level or elevated on racks.

Developing a drive unit for magnetic railway technology always requires out-of-the-box solutions, something which Max Bögl has found in PROSE’s years of experience with unconventional solutions. From the concept idea to the production drawing, PROSE has accompanied and supported the development of the drive unit. PROSE is looking forward to committedly supporting the Max Bögl Group, which is characterised by its innovative strength in research and technology, again in the future with the development of creative all-round solutions!

TSB technology conquers China
The Max Bögl Group has already signed a cooperation agreement with the Chinese company Chengdu Xingzhu Road & Bridge Machinery Co Ltd. The agreement includes the construction of a test track with a length of more than 3.5 kilometres in Chengdu, the capital of the province Sichuan.

We wish Max Bögl and Chengdu Xinzhu Road & Bridge Machinery Co Ltd success for the commissioning and homologation for the Chinese market.

Riding quality of a new rail route of the Würzburger Straßenbahn

The Würzburger Straßenbahn GmbH commissioned PROSE to determine the riding quality of a planned rail route in relation to the existing fleet of trams. It had to be verified whether the safety against derailment can be guaranteed and that no damages are caused by too large forces between the vehicle modules.
